Parent Directed Families,
On April 27th, AISCA and Khan Communications will host the first online sessions for all home education parents interested in accessing this new program. These sessions will:
- inform parents about the program deliverables;
- make parents aware of current resources available to them; and
- provide some universal strategies that parents can consider incorporating into their instruction.
Beginning this May, the full home education support program will be rolled out. Due to the significant online focus of the program, Khan Communications is working on the development of a website that will allow parents to access resources, register for online sessions, book online consultations with rehabilitative (SLP, OT, PT) or mental health therapists, and access screening for extraordinary learning needs. This video introduces this new program and an overview of support and services available.
