Literacy Week 2021 is here!

To celebrate, here is an activity from a site that promotes Family Literacy (ABC Life Literacy Canada). This is a great activity because it comes in English, French, Arabic, Tagalog and Simplified Chinese. This is the sample module but, there are many other modules available for free download on their website .

Children whose parents are involved with them in family literacy activities score 10 points higher on standardized reading tests (The Effect of Family Literacy Interventions On Children’s Acquisition of Reading: From Kindergarten to Grade 3, Conducted by Monique Sénéchal for the National Center for Family Literacy, 2006).
