2017 RCMP DEPOT YOUTH CAMP
“K” Division Recruiting, in conjunction with Depot Training Division, are proud to announce the 6th annual RCMP Depot Youth Camps. The two camps will be held from August 7-11 and August 14-18. The first camp will be open to all applicants and the second camp will be open to Aboriginal applicants. Those interested applicants must scan and email their finished application to K Division Recruiting section (contact information attached). Applications that are not completed properly will not be accepted. The closing date for applications is March 1, 2017.
Expectations at Depot:
They will be participating in: drill, driver simulator training, firearms, police officer scenarios, fitness training (PARE-Physical Abilities Requirement Evaluation), troop graduation, a tour of the RCMP Heritage Centre and more. Students will be required to live by the same ideals as police cadets who are currently going through training. They will be expected to wake up early, clean their pit and behave professionally while on base. They will be chaperoned accordingly and be able to return home with keepsakes from their experience at Depot.
